Express The Sensual

The world doesn’t know you.  It doesn’t know why you love the smell of freshly cut pink roses or why you get frustrated when you lose your car keys before a big meeting.  The world doesn’t know anything about you…Except that you have a hidden power. Deep inside your soul.  A power that some people want to dominate and some people want to worship.  But it’s your choice what you do with that power.

Forget what the world wants and consider what you want.  Bring your Power out of the shadows and into the light. Decide, right now, how YOU want to share your Self and your Power.

You feel love and anger, sadness and elation, attraction and fear, all at the same time.  Accept your ability to be both grounded and flighty without condemnation or contempt.  Discover a deeper foundation inside your feminine soul beyond these emotional contradictions.  Within you there is the quiet hum of Sensuality. The expression of your true, authentic self in this moment. It lives inside each breath, each rolling heartbeat, each gentle blink of your eyelashes.

Don’t hold back your Power, call it forth with a theme song. Serenade it with a heavy drum beat or a lilting soprano’s solo.  Let a rhythmic rap or swinging country song fill you with a cascade of energy.  Find the perfect words (dirty or clean) that bring your Power forth.

Create a list of as many songs as you can that call on your own personal expression of Power.  Allow yourself to be surprised and scared at your own choices.  Let them be Gentle.  Let them be Frisky. Let them be Nasty.  Let them be Sweet. Set aside prejudice and let your sensuality guide you.

For me, power is in deep, dark beats and the crooning of a man aching for a Woman.  Whether he croons with pain, sexual tension, or happiness doesn’t seem to matter.   My body just moves and plays within the darkness and light of both our souls.  Perhaps some of these songs will fill you with the same Power and perhaps not. 

But find what moves you.
